So, usually when I paint dolphins, I'll make a basic outline, and, using a solid sharp "brush" setting, will slowly fill it in. I'll "stack" different shades of color on top of one another, forming smoothly shaded and highlighted shape as I go. This time, however, I did things differently. Instead, I drew everything (with the exception of the background color and run ray highlights) with a "pencil" setting. I honestly really like it. What do you guys think?
A blog dedicated to the dolphins in Florida, both wild and captive. I also blog at ExploreFloridaWaters.com, but I just need a extra little space all to itself to share about my number one favorite Florida water inhabitant, the dolphins and other cetaceans
