A Year Without Tilikum

Exactly one year ago from January 6th, one of the most amazing cetaceans I have ever met passed away. His name was Tilikum, and he lived at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. He measured almost 30 feet long and weighed over 12,000 pounds. Though many accused him of being a psychotic killer who wished to destroy every person he came in contact with, it appears that most of the time, he behaved more like a gentle giant. He was so majestic and inspiring, and I will never forget him.
